*Brigs Awards*

*Most Interesting Part of This Class: Was when we had to write our poems. I never really thought that I was going to like doing them, but I did.
*Most Boring/Useless Part of This Class: I didn't like how we had to do the book round-ups. I didn't really learn from it and it wasn't that fun.
*Hardest I Laughed in This Class: Was when we were filming the movie and Brett was rolling around on the floor with the camera.
*Thing That I Learned That Will Be Most Useful to Know in the Real World: Is how to write a book. I always wanted to write a book but I would get so far and then just stop because I didn't know how to make it interesting.
*Best Thing About Brigs as a Teacher: He is so funny. Brigs can make a joke out of anything, and that's why I like going to his class.
*Thing Brigs Could do to Make This Class Better For Future Classes: NO BOOK ROUND-UPS!! Grr they are not fun at all.

Go back in time

I don't really know what event I would want and go back in time and change because I have a really good life. But I think that I would have to go back and tell my mom that she was having my sister so she would not take her diabetic medicine. You see my mom didn't find out that she was having my sister until she was six months pregnant and my mom was taking medicine that affected my sister's heart. When my sister was six months old she had to have open heart surgery. If my mom new that she was pregnant my sister wouldn't have to have heart problem.

Internal Conflicts

Well a while back in a class i said something that was stupid and some people laughed. It really bugged me because i thought that they were laughing at me. So the next day i asked talked to a person that really wasn't my friend if she knew if people were talking about what i said the day before. She told me that people thought it was funny what i said and not to worry about it because she didn't think that what i said was stupid. She also told me that if they did think it was stupid yesterday then they wouldn't think that it was stupid today because someone farted during class and so everyone forgot. So now i'm over it. :)

Turkey Day!!!!

If i was a turkey i would be terrified that i would get eaten so i would hide. I would find a giant hole and wait there until Thanksgiving is over. If a hunter comes snooping around my hole i would attack his face and then run away. I would also try to hide with me friends because if a hunter were to come and try to get me he would be distracted by all of the other turkeys that i could escape. There will be no way that i will get eaten because it would hurt way to much. XD

My Movie

The person that I would want to play me would be Saoirse Ronan... that is if she gained weight and had brown hair. The person that should play my best friend should be Carey Mulligan... that is if she had a longer hair. The person that i would want to play my mom would be Melissa McCarthy because she is funny and reminds me of my mom. They plot of the story would probably be going on a crazy adventure and getting into a lot of trouble :)

 

I'm Sorry :(

Dear Jane,

               I'm sorry that when we were kids i used to pick on you. When my friend was around we used to do mean things to you by telling you lies about monsters and other things that little kids lie about. I don't know why we did it but I can honestly say that I am so sorry. When I told you those things you believed me but then I told you the truth. I guess we had a strange relationship because you used to do the same things to me, but I never really believed the things you told me because I knew that you were kidding. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry if I ever got you upset or hurt your feelings because I never meant to hurt you.

Legends

One of the many legends that are going around is the end of the world. There is a preacher somewhere in the United States that is saying that certain days are going to be the end of the world. Well one of those days was last year, and as I’m looking around I still see people here and the world seems to be going on. So I don’t mean to jump to conclusions but I think he might be wrong. Just saying. I can’t speak for the rest of the days that he said would be the end of the world but I highly doubt that the preacher can predict the end of the world.

1A Story!!

So it all started when my friend Kayla and I were walking home. She said that she needed help on her homework so i said that i would come over and help her. When we were sitting in her living room her grandparents came up the driveway. When Kayla saw them she freaked out because she wasn't allowed to have anyone over. Well she told me to go to her room until they left, so i did. A little while later she came back and told me that her grandparents were gonna wait for her mom (which was at work at the time). Kayla told me that i had to climb out her window so that her grandparents wouldn't see me. Now i don't know what she was thinking but instead of putting a bucket in her room so that i could climb up to her very high window she put the bucket outside the window. When i finally got up to the window i realized that the bucket was in my way. I had to jump over the bucket. I jumped out the window over the bucket landing on my feet...but then i fell to my butt. I looked over at Kayla and she was laughing so hard that she almost peed herself. I didn't think that it was so funny cause my butt hurt. After i got the grass off of my butt i had to run home.

ZOMBIES! XD

I don't know how this whole zombie thing started but we have to end it! If we just wait it out who knows how long we will have until they take over the entire world. So we have to find all survivors and fight against those zombies. They say that the only way to kill one is to shoot it in the head, or smash it in the head... well anything that does damage to the head will be good. If we take a stand and refuse to back down we might stand a chance. I highly doubt that a zombie take over would be any fun. I don't even think that it would be as funny as Zombieland.

Top Ten Things To Do During The Summer

10. Playing video games. Even though playing video games is fun, it gets a little boring after a while. I like to enjoy the sun.
9. Riding my bike. Riding a bike is fun but i can only riding a short time because it do not like to get all hot and sweaty.
8. Going to the mall. The mall is a fun place to go to. I like to go there when it is summer because it is nice and cool in there.
7. Going to the zoo. The zoo can be a fun place to go to but the animals smell because of the heat.
6. Going out for ice cream. If the day is hot i like to go out and get some ice cream to cool me off.
5. Going to the movies. The movies if an awesome place to go to because they have great summer movies.
4. Laying out. I like to TRY to get a tan but it never seems to work.
3. Going to a different state. I like to go to Georgia because my aunt lives there; they also have fun water parks there.
2. Fireorks. I love to see the fireworks because my family gets together to watch them.
1. Swimming. I love to swim and any chance i get i will swim all day.

Myths about teens

Teens have been grouped together by adults for many reasons. Many adults think that tens are in to drugs and drinking all the time. Some adults think that teens are always in trouble with the law. Yes, some teens are troubled and have run ins with the law, but there are a lot of teens that are good that never even think about touching that stuff. I have been asked by many adults if my sister (which was seven months at the time) was my daughter. I was twelve at the time. That just shows that adults think that all teens have sex and that all we think about is sex. I believe that the adults have grouped all the teens together because it has been such a long time since they have been a teen, and maybe when they were teens they did some of the things that they are accusing us of.

My old habit.

When a long train goes by and there is nothing to do, I always count the cars on the train. Sometimes there will be a lot and sometimes there will only be six. I know it is not very fun but what else can a person do when they are waiting for the train to pass through. The last time a train went by I counted one hundred and five cars. Now that is a lot of cars. Counting train cars is just one of many of my habits, but I would rather not go into all the rest because it would take a long time. lol

Beloved Toy

The one toy that I remember clearly is the toy that my great grandpa gave me when I was about seven. It wasn’t really a toy, it was a key chain. The key chain was a little pink pig and when you squeezed it the eyes bugged out and it looked like it pooped. I know it is grows but it was from my great grandpa and I loved everything that he gave me. I always kept the key chain at his house because I didn’t want to lose it at my house because at that age I always lost my stuff. I remember when he gave it to me, I was so happy because it was so cute and funny when he squeezed it. every time I squeezed it I laughed and he would smile. Now that I look back I still laugh at that toy and I also feel sad because I don’t have it anymore. My great grandpa is gone now but I still remember when he gave it to me and that makes me fell a lot better.

Fears

When I was little I was scared of the simplest things. Such as the dark, and what lived under my bed. You see when I was little I watched a movie that was about a monster that lived under beds, and in that movie a little boy and girl got sucked under the bed and they had to fight their way back out. Now to a seven year old that movie was traumatizing, but I have gotten over that. Now being scared of the dark thing I haven’t really tackled. When I am alone and the room is dark I do get freaked out, but when I am with friends I am not afraid.

My perfect mate

This is hard because when someone lists things that they look in a person it comes out vain, and it is usually has something to do about how a person looks or what they should wear. For me it is all bout how they talk, how nice they are to me and my friends and family. I don't want to date somebody who makes rude comments. I like guys who are sweet and make me laugh. The first impression is the one that sticks with people forever. I would like a guy that can make me laugh. I know it sounds kinda corny but i don't care if that certine guy isn't the hottest guy out there, he just has to be cute for me. There are a few things that the guy must have. This guy must be religious and he must be nice to his friends and family. Other than that I really don't have a lot of things on my "list".

Dear Kiddo

Dear future child,
I hope that you are very healthy boy or girl. I hope that I didn’t name you something stupid like orange, and if I did I am so sorry for all of the beatings that you will receive from the bullies at school (especially if you are a boy). I hope that you have grown up to be a wonderful person. I hope that you are never afraid of taking chances like I am. All I want you to do is live everyday to the fullest and smile everyday even on the bad days.
